If you have other drivers parking near your covered car you may also consider....

Coverzone's Unique Side Protection System.

If you have ever had a nice shiny car in near perfect condition and worried that someone is going to park next to you and jam their car door into your car's bodywork then this is for you!
Coverzone have now developed a side protection buffer system that they can install in your new cover prior to despatch. This clever option permanently fixes a strip of high impact buffer pads along the side of the car in the door and side panel area where they are most vulnerable to door dings and scuffs.

The buffer pads are permanently fitted to the cover with double stitching and whilst they do not absolutely guarantee that your car will remain in pristine condition, they will provide much more protection in all those visible areas that are both costly and difficult to repair.
Once we receive the order for your new cover with side protection system we will take a stock cover and our skilled machinists will add the option to the inner lining on both sides. The cover will be a little bulkier when folded but the pads cleverly concertina closed when not in use so handling and storage of the cover is still a breeze.

Whilst you’ve parked by the roadside countless times, you still need to be careful when parking to avoid damaging your car. Even if you’re a careful driver, your car is still vulnerable when it’s left unattended.

20th AUGUST 2026

In the vehicle repair trade, protecting a customer’s vehicle is just as important as carrying out the repair itself. Whether you run a garage, bodyshop, windscreen repair service, trimming workshop or specialist restoration business, every vehicle that comes through the door needs to be treated with care.

From paintwork and interiors to soft tops, seats and windscreens, even small marks or accidental damage can create unnecessary problems. That is why bespoke covers and protective mats are such a valuable addition to any professional workshop.

For garages and repair specialists, the right protective covers can help keep customer vehicles cleaner, safer and better protected throughout the repair process.

Why Vehicle Protection Matters in the Repair Trade

Customers trust garages and bodyshops with some of their most valuable possessions. While the main job may be mechanical repair, paintwork, glass replacement or body restoration, the overall condition of the vehicle still matters.

During repair work, vehicles can be exposed to:

  • Dust and workshop debris
  • Tools and equipment
  • Grease, oil and fluids
  • Paint overspray
  • Foot traffic around the vehicle
  • Interior dirt and marks
  • Weather exposure during outdoor storage
  • Accidental scratches and scuffs

Good vehicle protection helps reduce these risks. It also shows customers that their vehicle is being handled professionally. A clean, protected car creates confidence before, during and after the job.

Seat Covers for Workshop Use

Seat covers are a simple but important form of protection. Mechanics and technicians often need to sit inside vehicles while wearing work clothing, which may carry oil, dust or dirt.

Using proper seat covers helps protect upholstery from marks, stains and wear. This is especially important for prestige vehicles, classic cars, light-coloured interiors and customer cars that have been cleaned before arriving at the workshop.

Seat covers are useful for:

  • Servicing
  • Diagnostics
  • Vehicle collection and delivery
  • MOT work
  • Repair centres
  • Bodyshops
  • Fleet workshops

For garages that want to maintain a professional image, seat protection is a small detail that makes a big difference.

Waterproof Covers for Outdoor Storage

Many garages and repair centres have limited indoor space. Vehicles may need to be stored outside before, during or after repair work. In these situations, waterproof covers can provide valuable protection from rain, frost, bird droppings, tree sap and general weather exposure.

Waterproof covers are especially useful for:

  • Vehicles awaiting parts
  • Non-running vehicles
  • Insurance repair jobs
  • Bodyshop overflow
  • Classic vehicles stored outside temporarily
  • Cars waiting for collection

Tool Chest Covers and Workshop Equipment Protection

Vehicle protection is only part of the picture. Garages and bodyshops also rely on expensive tools, equipment and storage systems. Tool chest covers can help protect equipment from dust, moisture and workshop debris when not in use.

This is particularly useful in busy workshops, mobile repair setups and environments where equipment may be exposed to changing conditions.

Protecting tools and equipment helps support a cleaner, more organised and more professional workspace.

Final Thoughts

For businesses that want to protect customer vehicles properly and present a more professional service, bespoke covers for the vehicle repair trade are a smart investment.
