If you have other drivers parking near your covered car you may also consider....

Coverzone's Unique Side Protection System.

If you have ever had a nice shiny car in near perfect condition and worried that someone is going to park next to you and jam their car door into your car's bodywork then this is for you!
Coverzone have now developed a side protection buffer system that they can install in your new cover prior to despatch. This clever option permanently fixes a strip of high impact buffer pads along the side of the car in the door and side panel area where they are most vulnerable to door dings and scuffs.

The buffer pads are permanently fitted to the cover with double stitching and whilst they do not absolutely guarantee that your car will remain in pristine condition, they will provide much more protection in all those visible areas that are both costly and difficult to repair.
Once we receive the order for your new cover with side protection system we will take a stock cover and our skilled machinists will add the option to the inner lining on both sides. The cover will be a little bulkier when folded but the pads cleverly concertina closed when not in use so handling and storage of the cover is still a breeze.

Covering your EV and Overnight Charging

Most EV car covers are designed as storage covers whilst the car is not on charge. However, many EV’s can be charged with a car cover fitted but owners should firstly check with the car manufacturer or supplying dealer to ensure that the use of a cover does not impede airflow to cooling fans during the charging operation. As with all things automotive, it’s best to adhere to the dealer’s advice to prevent any faults that may occur through overheating or any other charge related issues.

One of the main requirements for an EV is an overnight charge point at home that allows recharging by way of a nozzle and connector into the vehicle. The charge point flap is usually located under the badge on the front of the car or under a flap that is similar to a fuel filler flap at the rear or side of the vehicle.

Coverzone have now developed a very reasonable kit that adapts any of their fitted car covers into an EV cover by installing a charge nozzle flap. This enables the owner to locate the recharge flap, mark the cover with a template provided in the kit and install the charge flap that is supplied with  a self adhesive backing and Velcro tabs. This clever solution can even be used on specialist classic car conversions where the classic car has been converted to battery power. Remember to check with the conversion company or new car dealer first to ensure that your car can be covered and charged at the same time. The Coverzone part number for the kit is CEF101 and retails at £15.00 plus carriage.
